Replacing the classic recipe’s soda water with ginger syrup and Artisan Drinks Fiery Ginger beer adds warmth and spice to the mix, as well as it raises the Mount Gay Black Barrel up onto its appropriate pedestal.
Building your ingredients over crushed ice like the classic will keep your dark and stormy concoction fresh until you’re ready for a second round. Give your drink a swirl to gently mix the flavours together and add a sprig of fresh mint. Voilà- you’ve got a perfectly sippable Dark Ginger Mojito.

- 50ml Mount Gay Black Barrel
- 25ml Lime Juice
- 15ml Ginger Syrup
- 8 Mint Leaves
- Top up with Fiery Ginger Beer
Add all ingredients in the glass and half-fill with crushed ice. Swizzle the ingredients around with a stick. Top with more ice and swizzle some more. Garnish with mint sprig & bitters.
