When the occasion calls for flowers, the Ramos Gin Tonic may be the answer.
This concoction is Mikey’s twist on the New Orleans Gin Fizz. Here, our mixology expert has replaced the club soda from the original recipe with our Violet Blossom Tonic. In doing so, the Jensen’s Old Tom Gin truly comes into its own in a way you wouldn’t expect.
Channel your inner shaker-man (or woman) and let the flavours take you back to the Big Easy of yore with our Ramos Gin Tonic.
- 50ml Jensens Old Tom Gin
- 15ml Lemon Juice
- 15ml Lime Juice
- 25ml Simple Syrup
- 25ml Egg White
- 25ml Single Cream
- 2 drops Vanilla Extract
- Top up with Violet Blossom Tonic
Add all ingredients except the egg into a shaker with cubed ice. Shake vigorously for 25 seconds. Strain the drink. Add the egg white, re-seal, and shake for another 15 seconds to create a fluffy thick foam. Pour straight into a chilled Collins glass and garnish with a lemon twist and bitters.
