Artisan Drinks is committed to ethical conduct and compliance with laws prohibiting human trafficking and slavery. Artisan Drinks is committed to the high standards of ethical conduct and compliance, we fully expect our supplier and agents to conduct themselves in the exact same manner.

Business and Supply Chain

Artisan Drinks are committed to ensuring that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our supply chain or in any part of our business.

Artisan Drinks purchases goods and services from suppliers across the globe and are committed to sustainability and compliance of the domestic law regarding the compliance of all anti-slavery and human trafficking laws in the countries that we operate in.

It is a mandatory requirement that all new suppliers have suitable anti-slavery and human trafficking policies in place and adhere to them. Artisan Drinks expects all its suppliers to follow the Corporate Code of Ethics published by CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply).

The Corporate Code of Ethics published by CIPS sets out the standard, business culture and practices that organisations should adopt, the code requires a commitment to the eradication of unethical business practices, including Bribery, fraud, corruption and human rights abuse, such as modern slavery and child labour.

In addition, contractual commitments requiring compliance with the Modern Slavery Act are included in all new supplier contracts as they are signed. This includes obligations on suppliers to: comply with the Modern Slavery Act, conduct regular Modern Slavery risk assessments within their own supply chains, implement appropriate controls to prevent Modern Slavery. Detailed within that contract is the inclusion that if they are made aware of, through any means that Modern slavery is operating within their Supply Chain they are with-out delay to inform and notify in writing to Artisan Drinks.

Our Policies and Due Diligence

Our policies reflect our commitment to act ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to prevent and mitigate slavery and human trafficking from taking place anywhere in our supply chains.

All Artisan Drinks employees have a contract which sets out their expected hours of work, salary and employment location. There is a staff handbook detailing policies, procedures, rights and benefits and all HR processes and policies are in line with UK employment laws. There are clearly set out disciplinary and grievance procedures and a detailed Anti-Bribery Policy. To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide annual training to our staff.

Our supply chain relationships are reviewed on an ongoing basis as part of our commitment to adhering to best business practice. If at any point, we uncover any evidence or allegation in which a supplier or potential supplier is involved in any improper practices, we shall immediately cease business with themselves whilst the matter is investigated.

Compliance with all aspects of employment law is an obligatory condition within our business and is expected from all our suppliers or vendors.
