The Violet Sour is a contemporary twist on the Pisco Sour.
A vision in violet, this flavourful drink brings glorious gin together with violet liqueur and a splash of lemon. Much akin to its predecessor, the Pisco Sour, it comes with a luxurious egg white and syrup foam over Artisan Drinks Violet Blossom Tonic.
You can decorate your drink with edible flowers and citrus peel. Best enjoyed in the famous words from Paula Abdul; straight up.

- 35ml Tanqueray Gin
- 15ml Crème de Violet
- 25ml Lemon Juice
- 10ml Simple Syrup
- 25ml Egg White
- Top with Violet Blossom Tonic
Add all ingredients except the egg into a shaker with cubed ice. Shake vigorously for 25 seconds. Strain the drink. Add the egg white, re-seal, and shake for another 15 seconds to create a fluffy thick foam. Pour straight into a chilled old fashioned glass and garnish with a viola flower and lemon zest.
